The bluebells are here! Late April is one of the most magical times to be in Surrey, with woodlands right across the county bursting into their famous carpet of blue. From guided walks at Box Hill to drifts of bluebells at Hatchlands Park and the Surrey Wildlife Trust's family open day at Nower Wood, there's no better week to get outside.

Beyond the bluebells, it's a great week all round — pottery painting, a retro gaming arcade, the first-ever Leith Hill Literary Festival, three farmers markets on the same weekend and plenty more from 20–26 April.
